Crew Management
CREW MANAGEMENT
Reliable crew management for efficient vessel operations.
Amancare Crew Management covers the whole seafarer cycle — requisition, screening, certificate verification, medical fitness, sign-on and sign-off formalities, and repatriation — so vessels sail with qualified, properly documented crew.
Documentation first. Every step is recorded — certificate validity verified at source, medical and background checks completed, and sign-on endorsed before a seafarer joins.
AT A GLANCE
- Scope — recruitment, planning and rotation, database, documents, compliance
- Compliance basis — STCW certification, flag-state medical standards
- Verification — COC / COP checked at source via pelaut.go.id
- Formalities — SOA endorsement, KSOP and Immigration sign-on / sign-off
- Coverage — home town to vessel, including repatriation
RECRUITMENT STANDARD — STCW
A crewing process with documented control at every step.
Ten controlled stages take a seafarer from requisition to joining and repatriation. Each stage produces a record the owner can inspect, so crew status is never inferred from memory or a spreadsheet.
Crew requisition
Crew requested under the ship-owner’s Minimum Safe Manning requirement, by rank or COC, as specified.
Screening & first interview
CV received, first selection made, document validity checked and initial interview conducted by the crewing administration.
Certificate verification
COC and COP verified at source through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation database (pelaut.go.id).
Medical fitness
Medical examination against the applicable flag requirement — MPA or Panama standards.
Background check
Seafarer background reviewed, and any bad-record history raised with the owner before selection.
Technical approval
Selected crew approved by the Port Captain and Port Engineer before the assignment is confirmed.
Pre-joining briefing
Briefing and familiarisation checklist completed before the seafarer joins the vessel.
Agreement & endorsement
Crew agreement (SOA) signed by the seafarer and endorsed to KSOP.
Sign-on & sign-off formalities
Sign-on and sign-off processing with KSOP and Immigration.
Travel & repatriation
Movement arranged from the seafarer’s home town to the vessel, and repatriation on sign-off.
